This is a safe space for young people to share their views, which will inspire and influence Lauren’s work. Your perspectives, thoughts about the world right now and hopes for the future will play an important part in the work.
In this session, you will have chance to use your imagination, to come up with a series of questions, requests or commands for Alexa. Lauren will ask you a series of questions to help you to come up with your contributions. She will improvise to Alexa’s responses to your questions, requests and commands. It will be silly, serious, creative and fun.
The session will happen online on the OOT platform. Join Lauren in the studio via live-stream, where you will be able to interact via the chat function. No camera or Alexa is needed on your side.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be part of the creative process. You will be welcomed into the studio from the comfort of your home, witness what is happening behind the scenes and influence the creation of the final performance ‘Alexa, Take me back to reality.’ Your input is extremely valuable to Lauren’s work, made with, by and for young people, so you’ll also get your name in the credits as co-creator.
